Holm Oak Trees, Granite Stones...

... Old Holm Oak Trees upholster hills, grasslands and creeks. Junipers and Oaks find way among great granite boulders. The game feasts on the acorn forest, on the grasslands. Meadows with ponds that serve as perfect set up for blinds. Boulders covered with moss that attenuates the sound of the stalker, often give shelter to the game. Willow trees skirt creek paths and blueberry bushes save water springs from droughts and provide nourishment by the end of the summer. Rosemary and Thyme bloom by spring, coloring and censing the hills. Peonies leave their dry trails in the summer to give away hunters on their stalks. Broom bushes blend with young Holm Oak Trees to create mosaics of greys, greens and blacks, the perfect camouflage.

The forest falls away into a big grassland hiding secluded meadows and mild depressions. We encounter ruins that nature has turned into part of the landscape. Mountain passes and ravines serve as vantage points to plan your stalking.

What a marvelous place to hunt, saw plenty of game during my stay, having lots of encounters. I am thrilled with my trophies; a moufflon ram and a red deer.
Booth of this trophies were taken under the stalking modality.
